Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain virtualization technologies to support the organization's infrastructure and applications
Manage and lead a team of virtualization specialists, providing guidance and support as needed
Develop and maintain virtualization standards and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across all systems
Monitor and troubleshoot virtualization technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate virtualization technologies with other systems
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in virtualization technologies, and make recommendations for improvements and updates to our environment
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for virtualization systems
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and industry regulations
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in virtualization technologies, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
Proven experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization platforms
Strong understanding of storage, networking, and server technologies
Experience with cloud-based virtualization technologies is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong leadership and team management skills
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are highly desirable
