About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead IoT Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative IoT solutions for our company. Your main objective will be to design and develop cutting-edge IoT systems, ensuring their seamless integration with existing technologies and platforms. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure IoT solutions that drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of IoT solutions for the company
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the IoT industry
• Design, build, and test IoT devices, sensors, and gateways using industry-standard tools and protocols
• Oversee the integration of IoT solutions with existing systems and platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange
• Develop and implement security measures to protect IoT systems from potential cyber threats
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the growth and development of the team
• Collaborate with product and business teams to identify and prioritize new IoT opportunities and use cases
• Monitor and analyze the performance of IoT solutions, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing IoT solutions, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of IoT architectures, protocols, and security standards
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, and experience with IoT platforms and frameworks
• Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, and machine learning in an IoT context
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated, with a strong drive for innovation and continuous learning
• Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
