Responsibilities:

Develop and implement machine vision algorithms and applications for industrial automation and inspection systems

Design and optimize machine vision systems for accuracy, speed, and reliability

Conduct research and stay updated on latest trends and advancements in machine vision technology

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications

Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results

Perform feasibility studies and proof of concept testing to evaluate potential solutions

Troubleshoot and debug issues with machine vision systems, both in-house and on-site with customers

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members

Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions

Stay compliant with industry standards and regulations related to machine vision technology

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine vision development and implementation

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB

In-depth knowledge of image processing, computer vision, and pattern recognition techniques

Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, Keras)

Experience with hardware and software integration for machine vision systems

Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex technical challenges

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with clients

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Willingness to travel to customer sites for project implementation and support as needed
