Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems that can handle large amounts of data and traffic. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable distributed systems. Your expertise in distributed systems architecture, design, and implementation will be crucial in driving the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop distributed systems architecture that can handle large amounts of data and traffic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Build and maintain highly scalable and reliable distributed systems.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in distributed systems and make recommendations for improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of distributed systems.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Continuously look for ways to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and design principles.
• Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, etc.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
