Responsibilities:

Develop and implement AI governance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure ethical and responsible use of AI within the company
Conduct thorough assessments of our AI systems to identify potential risks and biases and work with relevant teams to address these issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that AI systems align with company values, goals, and regulatory requirements
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in AI governance and make recommendations for improvements and updates to our governance framework
Train and educate employees on AI governance principles and best practices
Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI systems and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed
Work with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to AI
Serve as a subject matter expert on AI governance and provide guidance and support to teams working on AI projects
Conduct regular audits of our AI systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Stay informed about emerging technologies and their potential impact on our AI governance framework, making recommendations for adaptation as necessary

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI governance, compliance, or related roles
Strong understanding of ethical principles and regulatory frameworks related to AI
Experience with AI technologies and their applications in business settings
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to think critically and make sound decisions based on data and evidence
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful governance strategies in a corporate setting
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to AI, such as GDPR and AI Ethics Guidelines
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for ethical and responsible use of AI and a strong commitment to upholding ethical standards within the organization
