Position: Senior Autonomous Vehicle Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Overview: As a Senior Autonomous Vehicle Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology. You will work alongside a talented team of engineers and researchers to deliver innovative solutions that push the boundaries of autonomous driving. This role requires a deep understanding of robotics, software engineering, and machine learning, as well as a passion for creating safe and efficient self-driving vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of advanced algorithms and software for autonomous vehicle perception, planning, and control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, validate, and integrate autonomous driving features
• Conduct research and experiments to improve the performance and reliability of autonomous vehicle systems
• Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time processing on embedded platforms
• Analyze and interpret data from various sensors, such as lidar, radar, and cameras, to improve perception and decision-making capabilities
• Develop simulation environments to test and validate autonomous driving algorithms
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in autonomous driving technology and incorporate them into the product roadmap

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing autonomous vehicle technology
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and/or Java
• Experience with ROS, TensorFlow, and/or other machine learning frameworks
• Familiarity with sensor fusion, localization, and mapping techniques
• Knowledge of autonomous vehicle safety standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
