Salary: $133000 - $160000

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Network Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure operations. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Develop and implement network security protocols to protect against cyber threats
• Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance
• Configure and maintain virtual private networks (VPN) for remote access
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure compatibility and integration of network systems with other technologies
• Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements
• Document network procedures, configurations, and changes
• Stay updated with the latest networking trends and technologies to continuously improve our network infrastructure
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and support
• Proficient in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
• Experience with firewall and security protocols such as IPSec, SSL, and VPN
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+, are preferred but not required
