Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $152000 - $192000
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Programmer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Backend Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend architecture of our software applications. You will collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the backend architecture of our software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and provide technical recommendations
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the quality of code
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
- Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and scalability
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve our software development processes
- Contribute to the development of technical specifications and project timelines
- Communicate progress and issues to project managers and team members effectively
- Ensure the security and integrity of our backend systems and data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js, etc.)
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g. Spring, Django, etc.)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code
