Salary: $228000 - $256000

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Architect to join our dynamic team. As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the development of complex software applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that all applications are aligned with the company's overall technology and business strategy. We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of software architecture, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications that meet the company's business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement application architecture.
• Conduct thorough analysis of current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure that all applications are scalable, secure, and adhere to industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team throughout the software development life cycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and system specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Application Architect or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
