Salary: $69 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asset management principles and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This individual will be responsible for managing and tracking all IT assets within our organization to ensure accurate inventory and financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets including hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Implement and maintain asset management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
• Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are obtained.
• Conduct regular audits of IT assets to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records for all IT assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for cost-effective asset management.
• Provide training and support to end-users on proper asset management procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in asset management technology to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT asset management.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
• Experience with asset management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
