Position Overview: As a Security Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' systems and data. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security events, managing security incidents, and implementing security solutions to prevent future attacks. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to provide proactive security measures and ensure the overall security posture of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security events and alerts, analyze and investigate potential security threats.
• Respond to security incidents and provide timely and effective resolution.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Implement security solutions to protect against cyber threats, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
• Manage security systems and tools, including SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide security recommendations and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Participate in security audits and assist with remediation efforts.
• Provide security training and awareness to employees and clients.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security operations and incident response.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related role.
• Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Strong knowledge of network and system security, including intrusion detection/prevention, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, or PCI.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are a plus.
