Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the overall IT architecture strategy for the organization.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business goals and technology requirements.
Design and implement IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations.
Evaluate existing technology systems and make recommendations for improvements.
Develop system specifications and architecture diagrams for new and existing applications.
Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
Define and enforce IT policies and procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for their implementation.
Conduct research and make informed decisions on technology investments.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
Lead and mentor junior IT team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) working as an IT Architect or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
Extensive experience with system design and architecture.
Strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualization.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with project management methodologies.
Familiarity with security protocols and procedures.
Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
