Job Title: Information Systems Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Systems Architect to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an Information Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing complex information systems that support the company's strategic objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions that optimize the use of technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information systems architecture, excellent technical skills, and a proven track record of successful system implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for information systems.
• Design and develop information systems architecture that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
• Evaluate existing systems and identify areas for improvement, including cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and identify opportunities for their integration into the company's systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation of system architecture, including diagrams, models, and technical specifications.
• Lead the planning and implementation of new systems, including coordinating with developers, engineers, and other team members.
• Develop and maintain standards, policies, and procedures for information systems design and development.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations by implementing appropriate measures in system architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in information systems architecture to continuously improve processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information systems architecture, preferably in a complex and fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in system design and development using various technologies, such as Java, .NET, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with system integration, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certifications in information systems architecture, such as TOGAF or Zachman, are a plus.
