Salary: $171000 - $208000

Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Threat Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cyber Threat Engineer, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization from potential cyber threats and attacks. You will work closely with our security team to monitor and analyze our systems and networks, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement effective security measures to mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other security-related data to identify potential threats and attacks.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems and networks.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence by monitoring industry developments, security trends, and emerging threats.
• Collaborate with the security team to design and implement effective security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Implement and maintain intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and other security tools to protect our systems and networks.
• Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause and prevent future incidents.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure a timely and effective response to potential cyber attacks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, tools, and techniques and make recommendations for enhancements to our security posture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Extensive knowledge of network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, and authentication techniques.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred.
