About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, reliability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and implement solutions to improve our overall cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the health and performance of our cloud infrastructure on a daily basis.
• Implement and maintain cloud security measures to protect against potential threats.
• Work closely with development and engineering teams to deploy and maintain applications on the cloud.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or incidents related to our cloud services.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Maintain documentation of all cloud operations processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for any necessary upgrades or maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to cloud computing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a cloud operations role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or ELK.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
