Job Overview: As a Systems Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance and availability of our systems and applications. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems are functioning optimally and any issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for implementing monitoring tools, analyzing data trends, and providing recommendations for improvements. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance and availability of our systems and applications using various tools and techniques
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that may impact the performance of our systems
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve any technical problems
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health of our systems
• Analyze data trends and provide recommendations for improvements to increase system efficiency and reliability
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system monitoring processes and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in system monitoring to continuously improve our processes and tools
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of new systems and applications
• Provide training and support to end-users on system monitoring tools and processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of system monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Willingness to work on a rotational on-call schedule
