Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and requirements
Develop and implement data engineering best practices and standards to ensure the consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data
Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve data engineering processes and workflows
Design and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity
Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and systems
Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
Experience in leading and managing a team of data engineers
Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, tools, and technologies such as SQL, ETL, data warehousing, and cloud computing
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
Working knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data engineering projects
