Salary: $92 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the transfer of data from one system to another, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and security of the data. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop efficient data migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data migration needs and requirements.
• Develop and implement data migration plans, including data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation.
• Utilize various data migration tools and techniques to transfer data from legacy systems to new systems.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data migration issues and discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain data migration documentation, including data mapping, data dictionaries, and data validation procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data security and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Conduct data quality checks and audits to identify and resolve data issues.
• Provide training and support to end-users on data migration processes and procedures.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize data migration activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration or data integration.
• Proficient in data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with data migration tools such as Talend, Informatica, or SSIS.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data protection and privacy regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
