About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Manager to oversee our company's network infrastructure and systems. As a Network Systems Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network systems to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. You will also be responsible for managing a team of network technicians and engineers to support the organization's network needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware and software components.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise to ensure maximum uptime and availability.

Develop and maintain network security protocols to protect the organization's data and systems from external threats.

Manage network upgrades and expansions to accommodate the organization's growing needs.

Implement and maintain network policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and technologies into the network infrastructure.

Provide technical guidance and support to the network team, including training and development opportunities.

Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology to make recommendations for upgrades and improvements.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network equipment and services.

Develop and manage the network budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems.

Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

Experience with network security practices and tools.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Industry certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are preferred.
