Position: Data Management Lead

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Management Lead to join our team. As the Data Management Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization, analysis, and maintenance of all data within our company. You will work closely with various departments and teams to ensure that our data is accurate, accessible, and secure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and a passion for driving data initiatives to improve business processes and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data management policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of all data
• Lead and manage a team of data analysts and administrators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of data management initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Oversee the collection, organization, and integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
• Monitor and maintain data integrity, conducting regular audits and identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
• Manage data governance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data models to document data sources, definitions, and relationships
• Identify and implement data management tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and make recommendations to drive business decisions
• Continuously review and improve data processes, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of data management principles, practices, and tools
• Proven experience in developing and implementing data management policies and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns and insights
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with data governance and compliance, particularly in relation to relevant regulations and guidelines
• Proficient in data management tools and technologies, such as SQL, ETL, and data visualization tools
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members to achieve goals and objectives
