Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Architect to join our team. As a Data Migration Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing complex data migration projects. You will work closely with our clients to understand their data migration requirements and develop strategies to ensure a seamless transition. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their data migration needs and develop project plans accordingly.
• Design and implement data migration solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients.
• Lead a team of data migration specialists and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain data migration best practices, standards, and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration projects.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze data migration requirements.
• Map data sources and target systems to determine the most efficient data migration approach.
• Develop data migration scripts and perform data validation to ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the data migration process.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide training and support to end-users on data migration processes and tools.
• Continuously monitor and improve data migration processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management and data migration.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data migration solutions.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
• Proficient in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
• Experience with data migration tools and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
