Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Lead, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's cloud infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing our cloud strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of our company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
• Develop and maintain a cloud strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives and goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the cloud infrastructure team, including mentoring and coaching team members.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and create development plans for team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or outages in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for the cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain the security of the cloud infrastructure, including implementing security protocols and conducting regular security audits.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for cloud services.
• Create and maintain documentation for the cloud infrastructure, including design documents, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
• Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, including networking, security, storage, and compute.
• Experience in scripting and automation, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering cloud infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified Architect is a plus.

Working Conditions: This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. However, as a Cloud Infrastructure Lead, you may be required to work outside of regular business hours to handle any urgent issues or outages. This role may also involve occasional travel to attend conferences or training workshops.
