Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect company data and assets
Monitor network and system activity for potential threats and vulnerabilities
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with IT team to implement security controls and solutions
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity
Develop and conduct cybersecurity training for employees to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
Maintain relationships with external cybersecurity vendors and partners
Communicate security updates and incidents to relevant stakeholders and management
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to cybersecurity

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Experience with risk assessment and management
Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
