Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Network Systems Lead, you will be responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network systems. You will lead a team of network engineers and technicians and work closely with other IT departments to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's network systems to meet current and future business needs.
• Design and configure network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and implement solutions to improve network efficiency and reliability.
• Lead a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of network projects.
• Collaborate with other IT departments to integrate network systems with other systems, such as servers, storage, and applications.
• Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance the organization's network capabilities.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network equipment and services.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network systems and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, and firewalls.
• Strong experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience managing and leading a team of network engineers and technicians.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, are preferred.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
