Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the overall data migration strategy in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
Analyze and assess the current data landscape to identify potential issues and risks that may impact the data migration process.
Design and document the data migration plan, including data mapping, data transformation, and data quality assurance procedures.
Lead a team of data migration specialists and provide guidance and support throughout the entire migration process.
Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that their data needs are met during the migration.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that the new systems are built to support the data migration plan.
Develop and maintain data migration tools and scripts to automate the transfer of data and ensure data integrity.
Monitor and report on the progress of the data migration, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of migrated data.
Develop data migration test cases and perform end-to-end testing to validate the success of the migration.
Develop and maintain data migration documentation, including data dictionaries, data mapping documents, and data migration reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor��s or Master��s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data engineering.
Strong understanding of data migration principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with data migration tools and technologies such as ETL tools, SQL, and scripting languages.
Proficient in data analysis, data mapping, and data transformation.
Experience in leading and managing a team of data migration specialists.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Experience in project management and working in an Agile environment is a plus.
