Job Title: Data Engineering Lead Architect

Salary: $135 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering Lead Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineering Lead Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the needs of our organization and enables us to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of our data architecture, including data warehouses, data pipelines, and data lakes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas that support the storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data.
• Design and implement data integration processes to connect various data sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve our data infrastructure and processes.
• Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide them with the necessary data and tools to perform their work effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and drive continuous improvement in our data processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data architectures and solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
