Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Automation Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Automation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the automation of our cloud-based systems and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability. You will play a crucial role in the development and execution of our cloud automation strategy, ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies and processes to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud automation strategy to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our cloud-based systems and processes.
• Lead a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure the successful delivery of automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and design solutions to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to automate manual processes and tasks, utilizing a variety of programming languages and tools.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of automated systems, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends in cloud automation, making recommendations for their adoption and integration into our processes and systems.
• Manage projects and timelines, ensuring the timely completion of automation initiatives and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards in all automation initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud automation, with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of automation engineers.
• Strong experience with automation tools and technologies, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, with experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience with cloud security best practices is a plus.
