About the Role: Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure of our big data platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our big data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the infrastructure of our big data platform, including data storage, processing, and analytics systems
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows for efficient data ingestion, processing, and analysis
• Optimize the performance and scalability of our big data systems to handle large volumes of data
• Ensure the security and compliance of our big data infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues with the infrastructure and provide timely resolutions
• Conduct regular performance and capacity assessments and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in big data and make recommendations for adoption
• Mentor and train junior team members on big data infrastructure best practices and technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing big data infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
• Proven experience with cloud-based big data platforms, preferably AWS
• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance standards
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
