Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
Design, build, and maintain scalable and fault-tolerant data pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data models
Optimize data storage and retrieval for efficient data processing
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data processing, storage, and retrieval
Develop and maintain documentation for data processing systems and procedures
Stay updated with the latest advancements in big data technologies and incorporate them into the existing systems
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are followed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on big data technologies
Strong experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python
Experience with cloud-based big data solutions such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Strong understanding of distributed systems and parallel computing
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
