Position: Big Data Solution Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Big Data Solution Architect to join our team. As a Big Data Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex big data solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies, experience in architecting solutions, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
• Develop architecture diagrams, data models, and technical documentation for the solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of big data solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the big data space.
• Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the solutions are implemented according to the design.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the big data solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience in architecting big data solutions.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
