Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, analysis, and visualization, as well as a deep understanding of big data technologies and tools. As a Big Data Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our big data infrastructure and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for data management and analysis, and ensure the successful integration of new technologies to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement big data solutions to meet the needs of our organization.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand data requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend new big data technologies and tools to improve data management and analysis.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of big data systems, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Develop and implement data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Design and maintain data warehouses and data lakes for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on big data technologies and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in big data technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data technologies and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration.
• In-depth understanding of data management and analysis techniques.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
