Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop complex IT systems and solutions that align with the organization's business objectives
Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
Lead the development and implementation of IT systems architecture, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT teams and project managers throughout the system development life cycle
Develop and maintain system design documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures
Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges, and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure the security, integrity, and performance of the IT systems architecture, and implement appropriate measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities
Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and procure hardware and software products that meet the organization's needs
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Stay current with industry best practices and trends, and continuously improve the organization's IT systems architecture to meet evolving business needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT systems architecture and design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of network and server infrastructure, operating systems, databases, and software development processes
Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies
Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing IT systems architecture for complex and large-scale organizations
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ability to lead and mentor a team, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are an asset
