Salary: $138 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Monitoring Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Monitoring Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and maintenance of our company's IT systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of systems administrators and technicians in monitoring and maintaining the company's IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
• Develop and implement monitoring strategies and procedures to ensure the stability, performance, and security of all IT systems.
• Monitor system alerts and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track system performance and identify trends or potential problems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to identify and implement system improvements and upgrades.
• Train and mentor team members on monitoring best practices and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a systems monitoring role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience with server and network infrastructure, virtualization, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with cloud-based systems, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective monitoring strategies.
• Knowledge of ITIL and other industry best practices.
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or ITIL are preferred.
