Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Center Engineer Lead to oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our data center infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of data center engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations, networking, and server administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data center engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
• Plan, design, and implement data center infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of data center equipment including servers, storage systems, and networking devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data center operations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for data center operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data center operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for data center equipment and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Participate in capacity planning and forecasting for data center infrastructure.
• Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of data center operations.
• Train and mentor junior data center engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data center technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations.
• Proven experience in managing a team of data center engineers.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, storage systems, and networking devices.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with server virtualization, cloud computing, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data center operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
