Position: Edge AI Specialist Lead

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $247000 - $320000

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge edge AI solutions for various projects and products.
• Lead and manage a team of AI specialists to ensure successful delivery of projects within tight deadlines.
• Research and stay current on the latest advancements and trends in edge AI technology and provide insights and recommendations for implementation.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored edge AI solutions to meet their specific requirements.
• Utilize machine learning and deep learning techniques to develop models and algorithms for edge devices.
• Optimize and fine-tune edge AI models for improved performance and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain codebase for edge AI solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of edge AI solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics of edge AI models and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Train and coach team members on edge AI technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate edge AI solutions with edge devices.
• Document and communicate technical details and progress to team members and stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data privacy and security protocols for edge AI solutions.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, and other events to stay updated on the latest developments in edge AI technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI development, with a focus on edge computing.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of AI specialists.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques and algorithms.
• Experience with edge computing frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, Caffe2, or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
• Experience working with edge devices and their limitations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality edge AI solutions.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security protocols is a plus.
