Job Title: IT Configuration Specialist

Salary: $115 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Configuration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an IT Configuration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our organization's IT systems. You will be responsible for configuring, testing, and maintaining various hardware, software, and network systems to meet the specific needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT configuration plans and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of our organization's IT systems.
• Configure and maintain hardware, software, and network systems, including servers, computers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other related equipment.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software applications to meet the specific requirements of our organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all IT systems are properly configured and integrated.
• Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of configuration processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Test and evaluate new system configurations and make recommendations for improvements.
• Train end-users on IT systems and provide technical support as needed.
• Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access levels for various systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our organization's IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT configuration or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network configuration.
• Experience with server and network administration.
• Proficient in scripting and coding languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
