Job Overview: As the Data Platform Manager Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data platform. You will play a pivotal role in managing our data infrastructure and ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and security of our data platform. This role requires a deep understanding of data management concepts, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data engineers and analysts to design, develop, and maintain our data platform
• Develop and implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and optimize data models to support reporting, analytics, and data visualization needs
• Oversee the integration of data from various sources into our data platform
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and implement data governance processes
• Monitor data platform performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay up-to-date with emerging data management technologies and trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Lead data platform projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with all stakeholders
• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data lineage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and data governance
• Proficient in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
• Proven track record of successfully leading data platform projects from conception to delivery
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
