Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Compliance Specialist Lead to join our dynamic team. You will lead a team of Data Compliance Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure that all data practices are in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data privacy policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Lead a team of Data Compliance Specialists, providing guidance and support on all aspects of data compliance
• Monitor and assess the organization's data processing activities, identifying potential areas of risk and implementing mitigation strategies
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure that all data processes are compliant and up-to-date
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data privacy and security are integrated into all business processes
• Provide training and education to employees on data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
• Stay current on emerging data privacy laws and regulations, and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all data compliance inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate with regulatory agencies and other external parties as needed to maintain compliance with data privacy regulations
• Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed on best practices and trends in data compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data compliance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Strong understanding of data security best practices and risk management techniques
• Experience conducting audits and reviews to assess data compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven experience managing and developing a team
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional certification in data privacy, such as CIPP, is preferred but not required
