About the Role: We are seeking a Data Governance Manager Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the data governance team and implementing strategies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of our clients' data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce data policies, procedures, and standards to drive data quality and compliance. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all systems and platforms
• Lead the data governance team and provide guidance and support to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements and develop solutions to ensure data quality and compliance
• Conduct data audits and identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address any issues
• Monitor and track data compliance and provide regular reports to management
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data governance documentation
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to data governance and recommend improvements to our data management processes
• Train and educate employees on data governance policies and procedures
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure data governance requirements are met
• Act as a subject matter expert on data governance and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed
• Drive data governance initiatives and projects to completion within the given timeline and budget
• Participate in data governance committees and represent the company in external events and conferences related to data governance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of years of experience in data governance or data management
• Proven experience leading a team and managing complex projects
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards, and best practices
• Experience with data quality tools and reporting
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Familiarity with data management and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, etc.
• Certification in data governance or data management is a plus
