Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer Lead to join our growing team. As a Data Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers and overseeing the development, testing, and maintenance of our data infrastructure.

Your main responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain our data pipelines and data warehouses. You will work closely with our data science team to ensure that data is accurately collected, stored, and processed for analysis. You will also collaborate with our software development team to integrate data-driven solutions into our products.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in data engineering and be proficient in various programming languages and tools, such as SQL, Python, and ETL tools. You should also have experience in leading a team of data engineers and managing projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data engineers and oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses
• Collaborate with data scientists to ensure accurate data collection, storage, and processing
• Work with software development team to integrate data-driven solutions into our products
• Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and troubleshoot any technical problems
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data engineering and make recommendations for process improvements
• Mentor and train junior data engineers on technical skills and industry best practices
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of data engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data engineering solutions
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database design
• Experience with ETL tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling concepts
• Experience in leading a team of data engineers and managing projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience in data science or machine learning is a plus
