Title: UX Specialist
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $115 Per hour
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled UX Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a UX Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to gain insights into user needs and behaviors
- Analyze user feedback and data to identify pain points and areas for improvement in our digital products
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality and user-focused designs
- Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all digital platforms
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UX design and incorporate them into our design process
- Communicate design decisions and recommendations to stakeholders and justify design choices based on research and data
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and make necessary design iterations to improve the user experience
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX Specialist or a similar role
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- A portfolio showcasing your design process and projects is required
