Salary: $133000 - $160000

Job Description: We are seeking a highly creative and innovative Exhibit Designer to join our team. As an Exhibit Designer, you will be responsible for designing visually captivating and informative exhibits for various events and exhibitions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and interactive exhibits that effectively convey our brand and message to our audience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing exhibits, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating unique and impactful experiences. You should be able to blend design elements, storytelling, and technology to create compelling exhibits that leave a lasting impression on our audience. Additionally, you should be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines and be able to adapt to changing project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand the brand and message to be conveyed through the exhibit
• Design and develop creative concepts and sketches for exhibits that align with the brand and event objectives
• Incorporate various design elements such as graphics, lighting, sound, and technology to enhance the overall visual appeal of the exhibit
• Utilize 3D modeling software to create realistic representations of the exhibit design
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and installation of the exhibit
• Manage the fabrication and installation process, ensuring quality and timely delivery of the exhibit
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends and innovative design techniques to continuously improve exhibit designs
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and equipment for the exhibit within budget constraints
• Ensure that the exhibit meets all safety and accessibility standards
• Present and explain exhibit designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback as necessary
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on project timelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in exhibit design, preferably in a creative agency or in-house design team
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Rhino
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
• Knowledge of current trends and innovations in exhibit design
• Ability to travel for on-site installations and events as needed
