Job Overview: As a Health Policy Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping and influencing healthcare policies that impact millions of individuals. You will work closely with our research and policy team to analyze data, conduct research, and develop evidence-based policy recommendations. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups, to promote our policy initiatives and ensure their successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis on healthcare policy issues, including but not limited to access to care, healthcare financing, and quality of care.
• Monitor and track federal and state legislation and regulations related to healthcare policy.
• Develop policy briefs, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with our research team to design and implement studies that support our policy initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare organizations, and advocacy groups.
• Participate in meetings and conferences to represent the organization's policy positions and advocate for change.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in healthcare policy and provide insights to inform our policy agenda.
• Support the development and implementation of advocacy strategies to advance our policy goals.
• Collaborate with our communications team to create messaging and materials to support our policy efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in public policy, health policy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare policy analysis or related field.
• Strong understanding of healthcare policy issues and the healthcare landscape.
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for healthcare policy and social justice.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
