Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Academic Advisor. As an Academic Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to students as they navigate their academic journey. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic advising and support to students in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist students in developing academic plans that align with their career goals.
• Monitor and track students' academic progress and make recommendations for course selection.
• Connect students with appropriate resources and support services to ensure their success.
• Serve as a liaison between students and faculty to resolve academic issues.
• Collaborate with other academic advisors and faculty to develop and implement effective advising strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on university policies, procedures, and program requirements.
• Participate in orientation programs, workshops, and other events to educate students on academic planning and resources.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student interactions and advising sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising or counseling.
• Strong understanding of higher education policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in using computer programs and student information systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
