Job Title: Learning Consultant

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $97 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Consultant to join our team. As a Learning Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective learning solutions for our employees. You will work closely with our training and development team, as well as various departments within the company, to identify learning needs and design training programs that align with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and gaps within the organization
• Design and develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning courses, videos, and job aids
• Utilize instructional design principles to create effective training programs that meet the needs of different learning styles
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze training data to measure the effectiveness of learning programs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary improvements to training programs
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Ensure all learning materials are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies and procedures
• Train and support instructors and facilitators to deliver training programs effectively
• Evaluate and select vendors or external resources to supplement internal learning initiatives when necessary
• Collaborate with the training team to maintain the learning management system and other technology platforms used for training delivery
• Provide coaching and support to employees to enhance their learning and development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related field
• Excellent knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
• Proficient in using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
• Experience in designing and delivering a variety of training methods, including classroom, virtual, and blended learning
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in coaching and mentoring employees is a plus
• Familiarity with learning management systems and other training technology is preferred
