Job Title: Instructional Technologist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $97 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Instructional Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational technology, instructional design, and project management. As an Instructional Technologist, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of innovative and effective learning solutions for our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement technology-based learning solutions that align with business goals and objectives
• Utilize instructional design methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for a variety of delivery methods, including e-learning, virtual instructor-led training, and blended learning
• Conduct needs analysis and identify learning objectives to design effective and efficient training programs
• Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in instructional design and educational technology to continuously improve learning solutions
• Conduct quality assurance and user testing to ensure learning solutions are error-free and meet design specifications
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for learning platforms and tools
• Train and support instructors and facilitators on the effective use of technology in the classroom or virtual environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of instructional technology with other systems and processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions using data and feedback to make continuous improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and educational technology
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
• Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
• Experience with learning management systems and virtual classroom platforms
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and user experience
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
