Position: Network Security Architect

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

About the role: Lobox is seeking a talented and experienced Network Security Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Network Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network security infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's sensitive data and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network resources.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement network security solutions to protect our organization's network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks across the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends and make recommendations for improvement.
• Lead the implementation of new security technologies and tools to enhance our network security posture.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network security.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for security events and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other teams on security-related matters.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party security vendors and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, standards, and technologies (e.g. VPN, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.).
• Experience with network security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools.
• Hands-on experience with network security systems, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing network security solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security are a plus.
