Position: Threat Intelligence Analyst

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing potential cyber threats to our organization. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence related to cyber threats, as well as providing recommendations on how to mitigate these threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape and possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze open-source intelligence, as well as intelligence from various internal and external sources, to identify potential cyber threats
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Create comprehensive threat intelligence reports and briefings for key stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement threat mitigation strategies
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies
• Conduct regular threat assessments and provide recommendations for improving the organization's overall security posture
• Participate in incident response activities, including threat hunting and analysis
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence policies, procedures, and standards
• Provide training and guidance to other team members on threat intelligence best practices
• Stay current with industry best practices and new technologies related to threat intelligence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a threat intelligence role
• Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including threat actors, tactics, and attack methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of various threat intelligence tools and technologies
• Experience with open-source intelligence gathering and analysis
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position with flexible working hours
• The role may require occasional travel to attend conferences and training sessions
• The position may require working outside of regular business hours in the event of a cyber threat or incident
