Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular threat assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
Monitor networks, systems, and applications for suspicious activity and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
Utilize advanced security tools and techniques to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats.
Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security controls and protocols.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement.
Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
Provide training and support to employees on security best practices and protocols.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours security incidents.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
Strong understanding of network and system security protocols and tools.
Experience with advanced security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems.
Knowledge of common attack vectors and threat actor techniques.
Familiarity with industry compliance standards such as PCI, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus.
