Position: Network Performance Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

About the Role: As a Network Performance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing network performance to support our business objectives. This role requires a highly technical individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of network protocols and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Analyze network data and metrics to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for improvement
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement network performance enhancements and optimizations
• Collaborate with network engineers and architects to design and implement solutions to improve network performance
• Develop and maintain network performance monitoring tools and dashboards
• Conduct regular network performance audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Provide technical support and guidance to other members of the IT team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technologies and identify opportunities for improvement within our network infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network performance monitoring and optimization
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving network performance issues
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
